Calf Lux Luxury Calf Leather - Caramel

Gorgeous, full-grain, top grade Italian calf leather hide in a deep caramel. Our calf leather is tanned in Italy, by a tannery that is well-known for their superior quality and commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. 

Calf leather is incredible to work with due to its superior quality. These animals were fed responsibly, to ensure a slower, consistent growth (which results in a premium hide that is even, pristine and contains denser fibers throughout. Rapid weight gain leads to stretch marks and loose fibers). Many luxury brands work solely with calf skin as it is truly one of the highest-end luxury leather articles available. 

It features a delicate printed pebbled texture, and a medium, yet supple temper, providing the perfect combination of structure and softness. It has been split to 1.2mm (3 oz) and doesn't need to be skived. 

Perfect for bags, wallets, shoes and belts. It provides the perfect landscape for edge painting as well. 

Even though this is a luxury article, with a very high percentage yield, leather is a skin and it may contain scars, branding marks and other small blemishes.
